Sacred Music Festival, Rome
At the end of July 2006 we departed for Rome where we had been selected to participate in the International Sacred Music Choir Festival in the Vatican and Rome. We had the opportunity of performing for the Mass in the world-famous St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City where - from the quire beyond Gian Lorenzo Bernini's great Baldacchino - we provided a selection of unaccompanied pieces by Henry Purcell, Orlando Gibbons and Orlando di Lasso. We also presented concerts in some of Rome's other important and extremely beautiful churches, including the incredible Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio with its awe-inspiring trompe l'oeil ceiling frescoes. We also had the opportunity to bring a little of Wales to Rome's busy streets when we participated in the main festival parade in Welsh costume, singing Welsh songs in our country's native language.

Llandudno Festival 2006
In early July 2006, we were invited to participate once again in the Llandudno Festival; the following images show us rehearsing with the Manchester Camerata Strings where we performed works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Claudio Monteverdi and Henry Purcell as well as presenting the premier of a piece by North Wales composer Edward Wright which had been specially commissioned for the occasion.

Conwy Photoshoot
This group of images is from the photoshoot that was organised prior to our tour of Rome in Summer 2006. The location is Edward I's stunning 13th century castle in the walled town of Conwy in North Wales, where we are based.
